All you need is the Can-Do attitude, to embrace change and act as a change agent and team coach to ensures team(s) sticks to the Agile principles, stay productive, and continuously improves. Becoming a Scrum Master is crucial to enabling a self-organizing and cross-functional team to deliver high quality products iteratively and incrementally.

Who is a Scrum Master:

A Scrum Master is a professional who has a key role in the Scrum framework. He/she is a servant leader and an agile coach responsible for ensuring that a Scrum team follows the principles, practices and rules of the scrum framework.

A change agent willing and ready to helping the team to work better to adapt and adopt change, facilitate the change process through effective and efficient collaboration, communication and implement the change using the agile framework (Scrum and Kanban), with a mixture of SAFe and Scrumban.

The hands-on training will provide you the mastery and knowhow to effectively and efficiently run professional Scrum framework with a mixture of Kanban, SAFe and Lean methodology:

  • Facilitator to run Scrum ceremonies and helps team stay focus on scrum practices.
  • Servant leader to support development team and advocates for the team’s needs
  • Coach and mentor the team/organization to employ Agile/Scrum/Kanban/SAFe practices and help them to improve their collaboration, accountability and performances.
  • Shield the team outside interruptions, distraction and ensuring team work. On sustainable pace and safe environment.
  • Impediment remover to identify and remove blockers that slow down the team.
  • Process guardian to ensure team sticks to Scrum practices and improves.

As a Scrum Master, you will have the ability to embrace, facilitate and implement change using the Agile approach with the mixture of SAFe, Kanban, Scrumban, and Lean principles/frameworks:

  • In Agile;
    • Support Product Owner to refine backlog.
    • Team development with self-organization.
    • Ensures inspection and transparency of product backlog, sprint backlog and increments.
  • In SAFe;
    • Coordinate cross functional teams.
    • Employ the pillars of Scrum (transparency, inspect and adopt) and participate in workshops across teams.
    • Support PI vent planning, Scrum of Scrum, dependency identification and demos of deliverables.
    • Facilitates the flow of communication to apply Lean and Agile principles for improvements.
    • Coach SAFe values: alignment, built-in, pillars and execution.
  • In Lean;
    • Understand value and remove waste.
    • Value lead and cycle time.
    • Promote lean principles like to respect people and eliminate waste.
    • Kaizen mindset to encourage incremental improvement.

  • Manage product backlog, sprints, user stories and tasks using Jira, Azure DevOps, PM.com, Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • For team communication, standups, and knowledge sharing using Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and Confluence.
  • Track team performance and Scrum metrics using Jira dashboard and Power BI.
  • For retrospectives, team building and health checks using Jira, Confluence and Basecamp.
  • Measure Agile maturity growth using the Agile Maturity Matrix.
  • Sprint planning, kickoff and completion using Jira, Trello or Asana.

  • Candidate with little or no experience will undergo hands on training with the following tools:
    • Google suite
    • Microsoft 365
    • Snipping tool
    • Paint
  • Undergo self training & certification in parallel
  • Use industrial tools.
  • Use corporate platforms & tools to document & communicate.
  • Apply project work approach & methods to execute the projects.
  • Write CV using template provided and what candidate trained & practiced.
  • Provide interviews coaching and preps for interview
  • Follow up on our candidates & provide on the job tips.
